For the new model year, Subaru adds to its impressive list of all-wheel-drive vehicles capable of getting off the paved road. The 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek is sure-footed in dirt, snow, or wherever else you decide to take it.
Under the hood, it offers the same 2.0-liter boxer four-cylinder engine found in other Subarus. This V4 pumps out 148 horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque. All-wheel drive is standard, and it will offer a choice of a six-speed manual or continuously variable transmission (CVT). The CVT and the Crosstrek's relatively light weight allow it to boost a very respectable fuel-economy.
Perfect for those drivers wanting some recreational use, it can be used to carry passengers or whatever equipment you need for your outdoor fun. With the rear seats folded down it holds nearly 45 cubic feet of cargo and 23 cubic feet of cargo with all the seats in use.
But this crossover, aimed at young urban families, is just a comfortable with city adventures. Its practicality does not diminish its fashionable styling. On the outside, the 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek is adorned with Subaru's signature grille and "hawk-eye" headlights. It also has unique black and silver 17-inch alloy wheels and large, styled fender flares conveying a tough, aggressive stance.
It is offered in Subaru's two upper model trims- Premium and Limited. Although it's interior is similar to other Subaru models, especially the Impreza, the 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek is looking very attractive to buyers who want a bold and rugged look.
Practical and capable of almost anything, the 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek is an ideal Subaru and a welcomed addition to their lineup. This vehicle has character that makes you want to get in and drive.
