Subaru Legacy - Japan's Safest Car

The 2010 Subaru Legacy has been officially named Japan's safest car - and may also be one of the safest cars in the world.

2010 Subaru Legacy 3.6R Limited

The all new Subaru Legacy has been praised for being one of the safest and most affordable vehicles in its class. Now Subaru is introducing a more powerful and technologically advanced 3.6R Limited Edition Legacy.

Currently available at Heuberger Motors in Colorado Springs, Subaru's Legacy features an enhanced engine for the mid-sized sedan.

The 3.6 liter V6 was adopted from Subaru's Tribeca SUV, and produces 256 horse power and 247 lb-ft of torque. It hits the 0-to-60 mark in just over 6 seconds, and hits a speed of 94 mph in 15 seconds.

Subaru Making a Come Back with Outback

Back at the turn of the century, Subaru released a barrage of cutesy television ads featuring Paul Hogan and his Crocodile Dundee character. These ads were produced for the then all new Subaru Outback, which has grown to become one of the auto maker's most popular sports wagons.

Subaru Breaks Sales Records for Quarter 1

According to Subaru's website, Subaru of America, Inc. announced its best first quarter sales ever with 57,494 units sold, continuing its strong start to 2010. March 2010 also marks another monthly record with 23,785 units sold, breaking the previous March record in 2006 of 19,049 units sold. The automaker has broken sales records for eight of the last ten months.
