The updated Subaru Impreza has a lot to offer those looking into a good sized sedan with plenty of horsepower. Adding to the excitement coming from Subaru is the announcement of a special concept hitting 2011's Frankfurt Motor Show.
The BRZ Prologue is in skeletal form only as a concept, but the car is all power. Under the hood, the Japanese auto maker will be a 2.0-liter direct-injection horizontally opposed four-cylinder, with the code-name 'FA'. It will be completely unique to this model.
Subaru hasn't released official specs yet, but BRZ is said to offer significantly higher output, likely 200 horsepower. It will be matted with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic, operating on rear wheel drive.
Subaru president Yasuyuki Yoshinaga said about the BRZ, will "mark the introduction of a new pedestrian-detection system that will be able to apply the brakes to avoid a potential collision."1
Rumors suggest the car will be available under $30,000 MSRP. Just another amazing model for the Subaru family, coming into Heuberger Motors, Inc in Colorado Springs, CO.
